And then there was sand...

We continued to survey the seabed into the night, moving from an area of very mixed sediment with large pebbles to stretches of fine sand which formed ripples across the seabed. The camera sledge had a tough first outing which required a minor repair, and the Hamon grab developed a life of its own when out of the water in slightly rough seas. However, we continue to make good progress in surveying the different habitats found in North St. George's Channel recommended MCZ.
